Description
Aims:
Attendance on this course will enable school staff and governors to:
- Increase their understanding of the issues in relation to safer recruitment and practices in school which contribute to pupil safety
- comply with statutory regulations for governors involved in safer recruitment
- identify the key features of safer recruitment and ensure that school practices are correct
- be equipped to review their school policies and practices
This is a statutory accredited course which includes an assessment

NB Regulations state that at least one member of all staff recruitment panels in schools MUST be trained
