Aims:
- • To understand the circumstances leading to a child becoming ‘Looked After’
- • To gain an understanding of the difficulties faced by Looked After Children
- • To explore the responsibility of childcare providers in relation to Looked After Children
- • To examine the role of childcare providers in completing an Early Years Personal Education Plan (PEP) for a Looked After Chil
What you get:
- • Practitioners will gain an overall picture of the Looked After Child from both a learning and development perspective and a Local Authority/National perspective.
- • Practitioners will understand the importance of the review process and the need for effective partnership working.
